DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us on June 24th to hear about Dr. Leonardo Assunção’s perspective: “Far Away From Home: A Perspective About Life Changing Decisions in Academic Career”. This event is the 5th IMS-International Community monthly Seminar Series.\nLeonardo Assuncao is a postdoctoral fellow at Sickkids. He obtained his Ph.D. in immunology at the federal university of Rio de Janeiro and a Postdoc at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (FIOCRUZ). He is currently researching the role of T cell exhaustion during alloimmune response and was recently awarded the 2021 Transplant Fellow Research Award From Ajmera transplant centre – UHN.\n
